THINGS TO DO BEFORE RENTING A MOBILE ATTIC

  • Check to make sure we have a clear path for our delivery that is at least 12 feet wide, 15 feet high, and 60 feet long? That’s about the size of 3-5 car lengths of space. Remember, we can utilize the street as well.
  • If you live in a condo or an apartment, check with building management to ensure you can reserve enough parking spaces for a delivery
  • Do you live in a neighborhood with a homeowners association? If so, check to make sure on-site containers are allowed.
  • Are we delivering a unit on the street? If so, check if there are permits needed for placement. That will help avoid issues with law enforcement or local officials. 
How do I reserve a Mobile Attic?

You can put your information into our free quote system at the top of the page and finish your online reservation there 24/7, or you can give our local office a call at 877-423-2055 during business hours to speak to an agent directly. Our reservation process is completely free! There is no deposit required.

How far in advance do I need to schedule my delivery or pick-up?

Planning ahead is important in scheduling your move. Because we are a local company and operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, our schedules can fill up more quickly. As dates are subject to availability, we recommend scheduling your container deliveries, pick-ups, and moves as soon as possible.

Do I have to be there when you deliver my Mobile Attic container?

No, we know you are busy so our drivers are happy to give you a quick call before we deliver the container to you. The driver will use your delivery instructions to place your Mobile Attic container. We recommend being available if there are obstructions or if you foresee the delivery being difficult.

Do I have to commit to storage for a particular length of time?

The minimum storage rental time is only one month, whether you’re keeping your container on your property or at Mobile Attic’s storage facility.  This gives you the flexibility to load and unload your container at your own pace, and on your own schedule. If your situation changes and you need more time, no problem. You can keep your containers for as long as you like.

Does a container have to be put in my driveway?

No, we can sometimes place it on a non-paved surface depending on the condition of that surface. We tend to try to stay away from soft or muddy yards and final placement is left up to driver discretion so that we can provide the safest experience for you and our staff.

Is there a deposit? How much would I pay upfront?

We at the Mobile Attic offer a no-risk reservation process so there’s no deposit required to reserve. You won’t be charged anything until the day of the delivery. On delivery day, you will pay the first month’s rental for the container and the delivery charge to bring a Mobile Attic to you.
